With Sympathy

This kind of card is never an easy one to do, but I wanted to keep it as simple as possible.
I used Whisper White as my base and then I embossed the D,Vine Swirls with my Cuttlebug. For the Matte I used Night of Navy(NON). I then coloured in the flower image from the SU Close to my Memory Set in NON and Old Olive. Then from one of the off-cuts of NON I stamped With Sympathy in White Ink and too finish I tied some Dotty ribbon around

Engagement Wishes

This card I found quite challenging my cousin has finally announced her engagement to her high school sweetheart-kind of new it was on the cards but came a bit sooner than expected.
I used SU Not Quite Navy(NNQ) as my Base card next I used Blush Blossom(BB)to matte-first time for using this colour I have then used the Always stamp set from SU and stamped the holly buds in blush blossom. Then with the remaining NQN and the BB cardstock I have then done a second matte, but this time on the BB I have stamped the Daisy flower out of the Always Set with BB. Then with Real Red(RR) ink I have stamped the Heart and the Always out of the Always set onto a piece of Whisper White and cut and punched them out. To finish I have punched out a RR scollop and taped the always onto the RR then I have magic mounted the Heart and the Always up. I have then used Dotty ribbon to tie and knot and Crystal icestickles onto the Heart to finish.

Flower Anyone

I was having a play with this colour combination and I am not sure who it is for yet, but the time will come that I will need a card for that special occasion.
I used SU Pink Passion as my base cardthen I have used Lovely Lilac and place that to the left hand side of my card I used a fiskars border punch to create the decorative side of the card and I have stamped the Itty Bitty Background stamp in Lovely Lilac as well . The image is from Bella Stamps and how gorgeous is she , I had loads of fun water colouring her I used only orange and Lovely lilac and YO Yo Yellow for the Daisy. Too finish I have place a large Rhinestone into the centre of the Daisy and Stamped a sentiment into the bottom right hand side.

For One Of Tylers Mates

This card is for another one of Tyler's friends at school, with this card I was experimenting and I was really happy with it when I was finished.
I used Old Olive as my base card and then stamped with the Itty Bitty background in old olive as well ,then to create the second matte I have used chocolate chip and not quite navy, I was very lucky to be given this gorgeous image from my friend Marcia It is from the High Hopes range of stamps Walking Wally( I would love to get my hands on some more because they are absolutely gorgeous) I have then water coloured Wally in and then matted him onto the other to colours. Then I have punched out 2 oval circles 1 in Chocolate Chip and the other in white and I then stamped Happy Birthday onto the white. Then I have punched out 2 slots each end of the card so that the ribbon can easy slide through and underneath so that the image of Happy Birthday can slide back and forth lots of fun to do and there you have it one slider card.

For Someone Special

One of my friends from Tyler's school is having her birthday on this Saturday coming and of course that gave us the excuse to go out for lunch. We had a beautiful day, shared some very funny stories and and what more can I say I spent it with 2 beautiful people and we all realized that we should do this more often. This card was was lovely to make I started by using Pretty in Pink as my base card folded it in half, I have then used a Kaiser Craft paper to create one of the mattes then from the off cuts of the pretty in pink I have then created a second matte and stamped The aging block by Kaszazz in Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters. Then stamped the SU Stem Silhouettes with Pretty in Pink and Shabby shutters onto a small piece of Very Vanilla and Matted with an of cut of Old Olive and finished with a piece of Kaszazz swirl Ribbon and a sentiment and just dotted the flowers with some Crystal Ice stickles.
